Position Overview:
We’re hiring a Dispatcher to coordinate the scheduling and routing of drivers while tracking shipments and communicating updates. This role plays a key part in keeping operations running smoothly, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch drivers based on delivery needs and route efficiency
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate updates or delays to drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Handle last-minute changes or issues with professionalism
- Maintain detailed records of routes, schedules, and driver logs
- Ensure compliance with safety and transportation regulations
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with routing software or dispatch systems
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Average Pay Rate:
$22 – $26 / Hour
