Position Overview:
We’re hiring a Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a busy warehouse/lumber yard. This outdoor role includes safely operating a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and move lumber or construction materials. You’ll also assist with general yard duties as needed. Experience in a similar environment is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklift to move heavy lumber and materials
• Load and unload trucks and organize inventory in the yard
• Assist with general yard duties, including lifting and stacking
• Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of sit-down forklift experience (yard or construction site preferred)
• Valid forklift certification required
• Comfortable working outdoors and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of yard safety procedures
• Experience with construction materials is a plus
• Must wear steel-toe boots and use proper PPE
• Comfortable using hand tools (training provided)
• Basic English or Spanish communication skills
• Reliable transportation to Colton location

Average Pay Rate:
$17 – $19 / Hour
